Brutality against Women

Throughout the violent campaign against Falun Gong in China, women have often suffered rape, sexual assualt and other brutal measures.

Torture Methods

Evidence has surfaced of over 100 torture methods being employed against Falun Gong practitioners in China’s labor camps, detention centers, and mental hospitals. The goal is to eradicate Falun Gong, either by coercing its practitioners to renounce their belief, or by physically killing them if they refuse. The tactics range from long-term sleep deprivation, being surrounded with loudspeakers demonizing their practice 24 hours a day, to being force-fed with human feces, or shocked and even raped with electric batons.

Chinese Prison under Lockdown Amidst Deaths

A prison camp in Northeast China is under lockdown in March 2011 after three Falun Gong detainees died there within two weeks and evidence of the sudden deaths was posted online. This gallery provides a look at photos smuggled out of China by family members desparate for justice.

Falun Gong Practitioners Killed in Early 2011

The Falun Dafa Information Center documented the deaths of over two dozen Falun Gong practitioners between January 1 and April 30, 2011. The photos in this gallery, smuggled out of China at great risk to the senders, shed light on the victims' stories, lives, and evidence of the brutality that lead to their deaths.

This photo gallery features photos smuggled from China in July and August 2011 and obtained by the Falun Dafa Information Center. The images included range from evidence of torture to a petition from villagers calling for the release of a local Falun Gong practitioner to a series of photos of victims and their families taken before they were detained and, in some cases, killed.

Photos Smuggled from China in August-September 2011

This photo gallery features photos smuggled from China in August and September 2011 and obtained by the Falun Dafa Information Center. The images included range from samples of Mid-Autumn festival greetings sent from China to Falun Gong founder Li Hongzhi, to the entrance sign of a local brainwashing center, to a series of photos of victims and their families taken before they were detained and, in some cases, killed, including one of a 24-year-old woman who died earlier this month.

Photos smuggled from China and Vietnam Sept - Oct 2011

This gallery consists of photographs and accounts of persecution obtained by the Falun Dafa Information Center in September and October 2011. Included among the images are photographs of persecution victims, public appeals by family members of victims, scenes of show trials, and evidence of an extralegal network of brainwashing centers. In addition to images from China, also included are photos from Vietnam, where the local Falun Gong community has faced escalating harassment due to Chinese Communist Party pressure on the Vietnamese authorities.

This photo gallery features 7 photos smuggled from China in October 2011 and obtained by the FalunDafa Information Center. The images, sent abroad via the internet at great risk to the senders, include photographs of persecution victims, images of a Buddhist temple converted into a brainwashing center, a public petition by villagers for a friend’s release, and photos of banners hung by Falun Gong practitioners in Northeast China.
