After years of persecution in Mainland China, Li Weixun is enjoying her freedom as a UN refugee in the U.S.

All her life, Li Weixun had been a good Communist Party member. But one morning in 1999, everything changed. Because she believed in Falun Gong, she was interrogated and tortured non-stop for 96 hours leaving her partially paralyzed from the waist down.
