All her life, Li Weixun had been a good Communist Party member. But one morning in 1999, everything changed. Because she believed in Falun Gong, she was interrogated and tortured non-stop for 96 hours leaving her partially paralyzed from the waist down. Her arms were swollen black and blue, and months of torture left her paralyzed from the waist down. After three separate arrests and over 70,000 Yuan in fines, Weixun escaped to Thailand. See her story here.
