In 2003, this practitioner was captured by police where they pushed her to the ground, and beat her back and stomach with a wooden rod before forcing her into a crowded vehicle.  She tried to escape but she was recaptured.  The police jumped on her and beat her with the stick, while grabbing her hair and punching her face.  Her face and mouth were covered in bruises and blood, her teeth were loose and her clothes were bloodstained.  In the end, she was released because the police did not want to be held responsible for beating a pregnant woman; but they still extorted a large sum of money from her husband.
